Empowerment Program by Kalim Mustaqbal Foundation Transforms Lives in Katsina

On 5th July 2023, the Kalim Mustaqbal Foundation held a transformative two-hour empowerment program in Katsina Central, Katsina State. The event aimed to uplift individuals by providing essential tools, equipment, and skills to help them become self-sufficient and improve their livelihoods.

A total of 67 beneficiaries were supported with a wide array of items, including sewing machines, grinding machines, farming equipment, poultry supplies, provision store items, communication skills training, textiles materials, shoemaking and tailoring equipment, rice and beans, and tea and bread-making equipment. The program’s success was evident in the positive feedback received from the beneficiaries.

The Founder of the Kalim Mustaqbal Foundation graced the event, emphasizing the importance of empowerment and self-reliance in building a stronger community. The founder’s message inspired the attendees to utilize the materials and training provided to better their lives and those around them.

One beneficiary, who received a tricycle, expressed her deep gratitude, saying:

“Honestly speaking, I can’t express how much I’m thankful to the Foundation. I’m someone who values education, and this Foundation has become my backbone. My life has greatly improved thanks to their empowerment. The first thing I want to do is pray for the Foundation because I believe the sky is the limit for them.”

Another beneficiary, who received tea and bread-making equipment, shared:

“The Foundation has truly changed my life. With the equipment I received, I can now start my own business and support my family. My future is looking brighter, thanks to this opportunity.”
