The Foundation’s initiatives have impacted various beneficiaries directly and indirectly impacted communities in Katsina and individuals in Kano, Kaduna and Adamawa States.
Key Achievements
The impact and key achievements of KMF since inception:
Focus Area Key Achievements 2020-2025 Impact Highlights Economic Empowerment 870 individuals empowered through vocational and business tools 475 women, 108 men, and 287 persons with disabilities directly supported toward self-reliance and entrepreneurship Education Support Over 80 children and youths received educational sponsorships and scholarships Provided school fees, uniforms, books, and other materials to promote access to quality education.
Orphan & Vulnerable Children Program 19 orphans currently enrolled in schools across multiple levels Mothers of orphans empowered to enhance household income and stability. Healthcare Support 20 life-saving surgeries sponsored across partner hospitals. Procedures included craniotomy, peritonitis repair, skin grafting, bladder outlet obstruction, and orthopedic surgeries, dialysis etc.
Medical Assistance 41 outpatient and 45 medicine support cases facilitated Ensured access to essential healthcare services for vulnerable individuals. Disability Support 60 mobility tricycles, 25 crutches, and 130 eyeglasses distributed. Improved mobility, vision, and independence for persons with disabilities.
Food Aid Programs 300 families benefit annually from raw food distributions Total of 1,500 families supported to enhance food security. Ramadan Feeding Initiative Daily cooked meals provided to 1,000 people during Ramadan Enhances food security and community wellbeing during the month Ramadan.
